On November 28, we put up our tree and decorated it. Surprisingly, all the lights worked on the tree (happy! Since last year Shane spent 3 hours trying to get all the lights to work). The kids love to decorate the tree, but they are clumpers - we have to force them to put ornaments in different spots. We also got a new star this year - super colorful and happy, just like the tree.
One of our new ornaments this year was from Gatorland, Santa riding an alligator. Hilarious! When Gram and Bapa came, they gave us another ornament, a S'more man riding a red four-wheeler! Great!
We got the idea to put the tree in the corner from our friends, the Hoffmans. We had Thanksgiving at their house, and Joanie was pointing out the corner she had planned for the tree. Shane thought it was a great idea (and I agreed), so we moved our tall spider light to the other side of the couch and put up the tree in the corner.
Kayleigh was small enough she can fit in by the window to put on ornaments.
