Downtown Disney - October 12

After finishing up at the Showcase of Citrus, we headed to Downtown Disney and the T-Rex Cafe.  It was basically Rainforest Cafe, just with a prehistoric theme.  So we should have known it would be loud and overpriced, but we didn't think about it.  It was so noisy, that we ended up texting each other at the table.  How sad is that??  But I did have a yummy salad that was incredibly huge, so it wasn't a complete loss!
Once lunch was finished, we decided to walk around Downtown Disney.  We found the Lego Store.  The kids had a great time looking around and building.  Logan conned Grandpops into staying a while longer, so he got extra time to build a little boat.  I think he would have stayed if we would have let him!
Logan found a little train that he wanted to ride.  So we let Logan and Abby take a ride (Kayleigh was passed out in Abby's stroller).  Logan held Abby's hand while they waited for their turn.  Then he gentlemanly walked her to the back of the train to get in, and hustled up to the engine.  We told him he needed to sit with Abby, so he went back, got her, and dragged her to the front in the engine.  They had fun going around in a few circles!
We also found some fountains outside the toy store.  We didn't plan on wet kids, but what can you do?  How do you say "no" when you really have no other plans and they are having so much fun?  The kids were soaked, but incredibly happy!  Even when Logan cut his finger on one of the fountains, they still managed to have a great time!
