Halloween - October 31

Carving Jack-O-Lanterns
The morning of Halloween, we used two pie pumpkins to make the kids' Jack-O-Lanterns.

Kayleigh gets her pumpkin ready for scooping.
Daddy helps Kayleigh scoops.
Logan just uses his hands to take out the seeds.  Later, we boiled then roasted them - which the kids loved.  Yummy!

Daddy cut the pumpkin.
Halloween Block Party
Our street had a block party for Halloween.  Everyone brought goodies, a bag of candy for trick-or-treaters, and Kostas fired up the grill.  We had more than enough candy, more than enough food for us!
Kostas, the zombie, hangs out with Phil, adjunct professor.  So she didn't really dress up...
Josie, the princess, Brock, the ninja, and Angel, Cleopatra.
The neighborhood is safe!  Logan, the fireman, and Gage, the policeman.  As Jennifer Martin said, "I love this monkey!"
Corrinne, the wicked witch of which, poses with her albino snake.
Daddy helped Kayleigh trick or treat.  She didn't put shoes on before she left to go (her choice!), so her feet started to hurt.  Daddy ended up having a monkey on his back on the way home!

Logan raced from house to house to get candy.  We had to make sure he actually said, "Trick or treat!" and "Thank you!"  Otherwise it would have just been a dash and grab!
Most of the dads from the block and the kids went trick or treating together.  It was a huge party.  Luckily for us, both of our kids "gave up" after just going down Glade Bridge Dr, the other side of our street.  So we didn't have a lot of candy, and they were more than happy to hang out at the block party.
Hope enjoys? the albino snake.  I'm not sure if she was guilt-ed into this or not...

Our lit jack-o-lanterns!  We had such fun hanging out with the people on our street.  What good neighbors we have!
