More four wheeling - November 9

The nice thing about having two four wheelers is that we can go out whenever we want on the weekends.  On November 9, we went up to Huntsville to General Sam's ATV park.  It was a nice 700 acre area with trees and campgrounds (and showers and toilets - Shangri-La of ATV parks!).  There was some mud and some really beautiful trail riding through the pines.
Daddy and Logan take the lead!
Mommy and Kayleigh hang out on Big Red.
The sun was shining between the tall pine trees that flanked the dirt path.  Of course, I had to stop and take this picture, which meant the boys had left us in the figurative and literal dust.
One of my favorite pictures of all time - don't cross the streams!  It must be nice to be a boy...
When we got back to the truck to have a water break, the kids thought it would be great fun to play in the sand...
Okay, so he really does love me...he just thinks self-portraits are corny.  And that I'm corny for being so Japanese and taking pictures of everything.
The sunglasses-wearin' kiddos.
We saw beautiful berries on the trails.  Some purple ones (don't ask me what they are) and lovely holly.  Which of course always makes me sing, "The holly and the ivy..."  We also saw little frogs in some of the mud puddles.  They were hard to spot since they were covered with mud and were the same color.  But the kids thought it was great to see them!
One of the nicest things about General Sam's is that they have a hose down.  We were able to clean the four wheelers up a little before putting them on the trailer to haul the two hours home.  Logan helped clean Old Blue.
Kayleigh cleaned Big Red a little.  It's all good, she was already wet - and we had a change of clothes for everyone.
We had a really great time at General Sam's.  Logan keeps asking when we're going back to the four wheeling place with all the trees.  He really liked it!
